Q: Is online booking safe?
Yes it is. W.E. Travel uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. SSL technology is available on most popular Web browsers, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, and provides a high level of security through an SSL connection. SSL ensures that only W.E. Travel can de-crypt the data from your credit card number, confirm that the data came from your browser and that the message has not been tampered with in transit. Therefore, it is virtually impossible for 3rd parties to access your personal information.
Q: What are e-tickets and why should I use them?
Electronic tickets, or e-tickets, offered by many major airlines, allow you to travel without a paper ticket. The only record of an e-ticket sale is in electronic form in the airline's computer system.
When you buy e-tickets on www.wetravel.net , you'll receive a confirmation of your purchase via e-mail. The e-mail will include your itinerary information and confirmation numbers. You will not receive paper confirmation, a receipt or tickets. When you check in for your flight, give the ticket agent your name and flight number, or provide a printed copy of your itinerary along with government issued photo identification.
An increasing number of airlines are offering e-tickets. Please be aware that e-tickets may not be available for all of the flights offered by a particular airline.
Q: How do I get my tickets?
This all depends on the type of product you purchased. Generally with vacation packages you may choose to pick-up your tickets at the airport on the day of departure or pick-up your tickets at our office. You can also choose to have them mailed to you via regular or express mail. If you choose to have your tickets mailed, there is nominal delivery charge. For airfare only, ticket options are the same as vacation packages. However, certain flights are now ticketless in which case you will just receive a confirmation number either verbally or via fax.
Q: Can I purchase travel insurance?
Yes you can, in fact we strongly recommend travel insurance to our customers. For more information on travel insurance please read our Travel Insurance page.
Q: How can I determine the restrictions for luggage on my flight?
The best source of information about luggage limitations, security, and the cost of excess luggage is the airline on which you are traveling. Call their toll-free number or visit their website for details. If you call, be prepared with the weight and dimensions of each piece of luggage that you wish to transport. The airline representative can provide you with approximate costs for oversized or extra pieces. Note: Charter flights have extremely limited luggage allowances compared to most scheduled airlines.
