Working Enterprises Travel is committed to the protection of your personal information. This document is a brief summary of our privacy practices.
Why do we collect personal information? When you first become a client or whenever you make a reservation with us, we need to collect personal information.
Common purposes:
- enable us to make travel arrangements on your behalf and advise you of any changes
- assist you and assess your ongoing needs for other travel plans, and offer them;
- ensure your information is accurate and up-to-date; and
- protect both parties against error
What personal information do we collect? Depending on the purpose(s) (type of service you are applying for) we need to collect:
- information such as your name, address, phone number, birth date, and medical information
- travel preferences and form of payment
- employment and/or the organization you are with;
We may obtain this information from:
- you, your employer or union
Who do we disclose your information to? For many of the purposes identified above, we will need to share your personal information with others in order to serve your needs. These other parties commonly include:
- insurance companies, airlines, hotels, car rental companies and tour operators
How do we protect your personal information? In order to protect your information and your right to privacy, we will:
- not collect, use or disclose your personal information for any purpose other than those that we identify to you.
- keep your personal information only for as long as we need it to fulfill the stated purpose or as required by law.
- maintain your personal information in an accurate, complete & up-to-date form
- safeguard your information to the best of our ability
- respond to any request you make to access or correct the information we hold
Consent? We may obtain your express consent or we may determine the consent has been implied by the circumstances.
- we might ask you for your express consent over the telephone or in writing
- we may determine that by seeking travel arrangements through us, your consent has been implied to deal with your personal information in a reasonable manner.
Legal exceptions in which we will not need to obtain your consent, explain purposes or use or disclosure of personal information.
Example : Emergency situations if it is necessary for your protection or ours.
Note: You can refuse to allow us to obtain, use or share your personal information or you could withdraw a previously given consent at any time. However, by doing that, depending on the situation, you may be limiting or even preventing our ability to provide you with certain travel services you require or to advise you of changes to your reservation.

Find out more about Federal privacy Act, call the Office of the Federal Government Privacy Commissioner at 1-800-282-1376 or call your Provincial Privacy Commissioner.
For regions with a provincial Privacy legislation (except Quebec)
If a conflict arises between the Federal Act and your province’s privacy legislation for events occurring within your province, then the matter will be referred to the various Privacy Commissioners for a ruling on which legislation takes precedence.
For Quebec Residents: If a conflict arises between the Federal and Quebec legislation, the Quebec legislation shall prevail.
